Since giving up competetive tall ship racing, Nancy had found other ways to maintain her upper body stregth...
Nancy is a yoga and aerobics instructor from Los Angeles -- but she is also a performance artist. Particularly, she climbs things. She likes to draw attention to how people fit into their surroundings by ... going places and climbing up stuff. It sounds pretty simple, and maybe it is, but once you see a person just, you know, leave where they are expected to be and hang out elsewhere, it kind of makes you take notice of all those little rules that keep you on the sidewalk, both literally and figuratively.
She scheduled this and attracted her own crowd. The newlyweds crashed *her* party, as it were, dragging their own photographer through her scene....
In the bottom of the sixth shot, barely visible at ground level across the street, is another impromptu scene-crash -- a troop of martial artists taking over a local greenspace to practice with swords and spears.

I don't know if she's ever had any problem with power lines and such, but I hear she takes a little effort to avoid them... :) She was up there for maybe five minutes, just holding onto the pole like in shots 4 through 7. Also she gives awesome hugs. :)
Are you asking what they put in the water here or in L.A.? :) Whatever it is, there's always plenty to go around.... You can pick a random streetcorner and stand for maybe half an hour without finding yourself up to the armpits in something strange, maybe twice as long in strictly residential areas. It's one of the reasons I haven't moved away since coming here in 1985. Obviously I fit right in. :)
